Steve Albani is a creative, innovative communications executive with deep experience driving strategic, solutions-driven corporate, branding, and multiplatform programming campaigns that strengthen brands and advance business goals to improve organizational value. 

 

Specializing in corporate, executive, and consumer communications, media relations, strategic planning, crisis and issues management, and client relationship management, Steve has excelled throughout his career at developing compelling narratives and generating effective and positive organizational exposure and successful overall communications efforts. 

 

A veteran of ViacomCBS, Steve served in a variety of positions across two decades, culminating as head of communications for the Comedy Central, Paramount Network, and TV Land cable networks. A valued member of the senior leadership team, he was charged with developing and implementing internal and external communications strategies and overseeing media relations for the three channels, helping increase brand awareness, viewership, and revenue.

 

Steve first joined Comedy Central during its inception as an MTV/HBO joint venture and held positions of increasing accountability rising to senior vice president, communications. While at Comedy Central he developed and managed publicity campaigns for programming with comedic royalty, including Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Dave Chappelle, Trevor Noah, Jimmy Kimmel, Trey Parker, Matt Stone, Amy Schumer, Martin Short, David Spade, Jordan Peele, Norm Macdonald, and Sarah Silverman. He also managed press for all ancillary business lines, including a Grammy Award-winning record label, digital and social platforms, a podcast network, and festivals.
